If you choose Advanced Patient Advocacy as your Disability Representative what should you expect?

Your Advocate is there to remove the burden of maneuvering through the mountain of paperwork required in filing for Social Security Disability Benefits. For example, you should expect that:
  • We will bring broad knowledge and experience to working your disability claim.
     
  • We will carefully listen to your circumstances including the severity and duration of your medical and/or mental disability situation.
     
  • We will help you complete the necessary applications and any other paperwork.
  • We will serve as the primary contact with SSA and ensure all evidence is given a fair consideration.
     
  • We will make sure all forms and appeals are filedwith in the specified time period.
     
  • We will contact your physician and other healthcare providers to help collect the SSA required medical documentation.
     
  • We keep and maintain copies of all documents submitted to SSA to ensure access if needed for appeal or to answer questions.
     
  • We get you enrolled in Medicaid and/or Medicare as eligibility allows.
     
  • Should your application be denied, we will file all appeals and represent you at hearings.
     
  • Carefully explain the fee structure and how you pay nothing unless your Disability case is approved.
     
  • Regular communication will be established to keep you informed about the progress of your case.
